CULTURAL ACTIVITIES

This activity is a cultural learning space about the Tz´utujil people of Santiago Atitlán and their values, beliefs, dress, and traditiones passed down generation to generation through oral and experiential storytelling. One of these stories is the Mayan account of creation according to the Popol Wuh, the sacred book of the Maya. This activity also includes a few videos, local music, local snacks, and education about the dress of indigenous men and women.
