 TRADITIONAL FOOD/ PATÍN AND OTHER DISHES

Patín is a traditional food in the region of Santiago Atitlán. It´s prepared using grilled meat marinated with lemon, and then marinated again in a tomato sauce that is made using a grinding stone. Lastly, the meat is wrapped in maxam leaves which are fresh leaves from a native plant that has a fresh and unique scent. We also offer other dishes such as pollo dorado with rice and vegetables, carne asada, torta de carne (meatloaf) with vegetables or fried potatoes, and coca-cola chicken, among others.
